From a young age Jenny has always had a love of animals and at the age of 16yrs, began her career working with horses in Evesham Worcester. From 1996 Jenny devoted 10 yrs working as Animal Welfare Officer for the Guernsey SPCA where much of her training was through the RSPCA. She was also the Channel Islands Voluntary Welfare Officer for the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary.
One of Jenny’s responsibilities at The GSPCA involved re-homing dogs, where an understanding of canine behaviour and canine/human psychology was essential to successfully pair owners with prospective pets, to rehabilitate and train. In 2006 Jenny left the Shelter to move over to Spain where she lived for 2 years.
In 2008 Jenny, her husband Chris, Jessie the GSD, Lee dog, the naughty but nice Jack Russel, Gizzy and Taffeta the cats, moved to Hucknall Nottingham (Jenny's home town), where she now practices.
Jenny has extensive experience in animal behaviour, and is a passionate positive-reinforcement trainer. Behaviour consultations are on veterinary referral, therefore it's important for her to have a good working relationship with the clients vet.
Although Jenny works with all dog behavioural problems, she does specialise in "lead reactivity issues" and "separation related anxieties". .
